december 2025, another year down
I even had a friend put it in my hands and say, "I think you'll like this." You're all correct, and it was one of the times I've felt most seen all year.
november 2025, giving thanks?
I wrote about it in a newsletter a few weeks ago, but didn't fully explain the issue. I also won't do that here, but November consisted of: Feeling bad about myself because I look white but also don't look white, and I never know where to fit in or what to call myself.
october 2025, to grinch or not to grinch
I think of kids growing up in group homes who either don't receive a single gift or have to pick from a pile of crap repurposed as charity. I think of poor families who cannot afford to buy their kids anything and try desperately to make the memories anyway.
